TV/Couch Workouts.

Couch Potato / TV Workouts

Many teens don't exercise for the reason of "I just don't feel like it."
These exercises are literally some of the easiest, you sit on the coach while doing them.
Watch television, search around on the web, anything.

  1. Leg lifts: sit on the couch like normal extend the foot rest connected to the couch (if your couch does not have one then use a stool or chair relativity same to the height of the couch. Set a timer for a minute or two. point your toes up so your calf is flexed, lift your leg to eye level and then back down. BUT do not let the heel of your foot touch the foot rest. Once finished switch to the other leg and repeat.
  2. Leg side Crunch: Lay on one of your sides on the couch (easier if you lay on the couch as a bed) and lift your outside leg as high as you can and them back down, remembering to not rest or touch your other foot. Flip on to the other side and repeat.
  3. Leg lifts with tuck : sit on the couch like normal extend the foot rest connected to the couch (if your couch does not have one then use a stool or chair relativity same to the height of the couch. Set a timer for a minute or two. point your toes up so your calf is flexed, lift your leg to eye level and then back down. BUT do not let the heel of your foot touch the foot rest. After this tuck your knee to your stomach and then extend back out, proceed to lift leg, then back down, then tuck. Repeat for both legs.
  4. For a stomach and abs workout do Number 3, but instead of only 1 leg use both, placing your hands on the side of your butt for support.
  5. Sit on the ground with your back against the couch and do some Russians ( I do 2 min, or 100) Make a fist with your hand's , tuck your knee's into your chest (but not too close) and with your hands still in a fist move them from one side of your body to the next.
  6. Do planks, push-ups, sit-ups, Russians, or superman's, during  commercials. after one commercial ends, switch to a different exercise.
That's it for today! :)

Hi, I'm Kally

So, first off no, I'm not my mother Tia Hurt but her daughter Kirstie, or "Kally" I created this blog for the teens of America. In 2010 more than one third of children and adolescents were obese, and this number keeps climbing. This blog is to help not only that one third, but the rest of teens in America. To get them motivated, to help us teens get through the teen years, and beyond then. In this blog I am going to show you workouts, school lunches, easy running schedules, and much more. Share motivational videos, photos, music play lists for workouts and inspiring stories. I'm here to spark a fire in the teens of America.
